Good morning Floodwood students and staff.  Today is Friday, October 5th

Congratulations to the Girls Volleyball team in their win against Barnum 3-1.

The Varsity game at Littlefork Big Falls is cancelled. Littlefork Big Falls forfeited.

Next week, the Junior class will be selling Floodwood Polar Pride pop sockets! They are $10.00 a  piece. Get them while they last.

Thursday October 11th at 4:30 there will be a Volleyball Tailgate party.  Many activities are planned a there will be a Staff Soup Cook-off.  Come, try the soup and vote for your favorite.  Let's show our school spirit and cheer on the volleyball team!

There will be no Elementary Band today.

There will be no Math Intervention today with Ms. Beth.

Submit your Independent Student Art to Ms. Gillespie again this year to go in the yearbook. Paintings, drawings, sculpture, anything that can be photographed will be good.

The PBIS team is asking students to bring in gently-used or new books for a book exchange at the elementary Family Fun Night on October 16.  If you're able to donate, please give to your classroom teacher. Please spread the word. 

Meadowlands is looking for volunteers to help with the Halloween Party on Saturday Oct 27th from 10:45-1:00.  Please contact Ms. Fierke if you're interested

The Bookmobile will be here next Tuesday.  Sign up with Ms. Davidson if you want to go and please have your library card or a photo of the bar-code. 

Mark your calendars for The Scholastic Book Fair which will be here November 12 thru the 15th.  It will be in the Kid's Plus room again.  If you want to have your pet in the cutest pet contest, please see Ms. Davidson for contest rules and requirements.

The cafeteria will be open from 3:00 to 3:20 for a la carte purchases today.

Are you made for the stage? If so, students in grades 7-12 are encouraged to sign up in the office if you are interested in participating in a fall play. See Ms. Gillespie for more information.

Today’s lunch is Individual Pizza, romaine salad, carrots, fruit, and milk.

Monday’s breakfast is Omelet, muffin, fruit cup, and juice.

Be sure to be in school and on time if you want to get in the lunch line 3 minutes before your classmates.
