Good morning Floodwood students and staff.  Today is Monday, October 8th

Congratulations to Wyatt Rauvola for coming in 7th out of 227 runners @ the Swain meet in Duluth on Saturday.

Good Luck to Girls Volleyball team in their home game against Isle tonight. There will be no Football game against Isle today.

This week, the Junior class will be selling Floodwood Polar Pride pop sockets! They are $10.00 a  piece. Get them while they last.

There will be no ADAPT or Math Intervention today.

Thursday October 11th at 4:30 there will be a Volleyball Tailgate party.  Many activities are planned and there will be a Staff Soup Cook-off.  Come, try the soup and vote for your favorite.  Let's show our school spirit and cheer on the volleyball team!

The following post-secondary schools will be here to visit juniors and seniors this week. The

University of Wisconsin Superior on 10/9 @ 1:00 and College of St. Scholastica on 10/11 @ 9:00. Sign up on Ms. Fierke's door if you are interested.

Submit your Independent Student Art to Ms. Gillespie again this year to go in the yearbook. Paintings, drawings, sculpture, anything that can be photographed will be good.

The Elementary Family Fun Night is on Tuesday, October 16th. The PBIS team is asking students to bring in gently-used or new books for a book exchange. If you're able to donate, please give to your classroom teacher. Please spread the word. 

Meadowlands is looking for volunteers to help with the Halloween Party on Saturday Oct 27th from 10:45-1:00.  Please contact Ms. Fierke if you're interested

The Bookmobile will be here tomorrow.  Sign up with Ms. Davidson if you want to go and please have your library card or a photo of the bar-code. 

The cafeteria will be open from 3:00 to 3:20 for a la carte purchases today.

Are you made for the stage? If so, students in grades 7-12 are encouraged to sign up in the office if you are interested in participating in a fall play. See Ms. Gillespie for more information.

Today’s lunch is Chicken Alfredo, romaine salad, cucumbers, breadstick, fruit, and milk.

Tomorrow’s breakfast is Cereal bar, yogurt, fruit cup, and juice.

Be sure to be in school and on time if you want to get in the lunch line 3 minutes before your classmates.
