Good morning Floodwood students and staff.  Today is Thursday, October 11th.

Good luck to the girls Volleyball teams in their home games against Wrenshall tonight and good luck to the JH Football team in their home game against Hill City today.

Congratulations to Wyatt Rauvola coming in 1st at the Polar League Conference Meet at Grand Marais yesterday.

If you have a talent or a craft you'd like to earn money from, please see Ms. Fierke for an application to sell your goods at Floodwood's Annual Shopping Night on November 19

The Junior class is still selling Floodwood Polar Pride pop sockets! They are $10.00 a  piece. Get them while they last.

Please mark your calendars. The Polar Den will be closed next Wednesday, October 17th

and Wednesday, October 31st. Also there will be no Gymnastics on October 31st.

The Volleyball Tailgate party is at 4:30 today. Let's show our school spirit and cheer on the volleyball team! Many activities are planned and there will be a Staff Soup Cook-off.  Come, try the soup and vote for your favorite. 

The College of St. Scholastica will be today @ 9:00 to meet with Juniors and Seniors.

Submit your Independent Student Art to Ms. Gillespie again this year to go in the yearbook. Paintings, drawings, sculpture, anything that can be photographed will be good.

The PBIS team is asking students to bring in gently-used or new books for a book exchange that will take place at the Elementary Family Fun Night next Tuesday, October 16th. If you're able to donate, please give to your classroom teacher. Please spread the word. 

Meadowlands is still looking for volunteers to help with the Halloween Party on Saturday Oct 27th from 10:45-1:00.  Please contact Ms. Fierke if you're interested

The cafeteria will be open from 3:00 to 3:20 for a la carte purchases today.

Are you made for the stage? If so, students in grades 7-12 are encouraged to sign up in the office if you are interested in participating in a fall play. See Ms. Gillespie for more information.

Tomorrow is the last day to order your 2018-19 yearbook for $40.00. The price will increase after that date to $45.00. Go to jostensyearbooks.com to place your order. See Ms. Gillespie if you have any questions.

Today’s lunch is Chicken patty, baked chips, celery, carrots, fruit, and milk.

Tomorrow’s breakfast is Cold cereal snack pack and craisins.

Be sure to be in school and on time to get in the lunch line 3 minutes before your classmates.
