Daily Bulletin for October 22nd

Good morning Floodwood students and staff. Today is Tuesday, October 22nd.

School picture retake day will take place on Thursday, October 24th. If you missed having your picture or just not satisfied with the one you have please report to the gym when you are called. Remember to bring your packet that you have with you.

Shout out to the 7th & 8th graders for having 95% of their class getting here and to all classes on time.

Would these students please stop in the office sometime today: Kennedi Johnson, Saiorse Autio, and Jaxon Heggedahl.

There will be a Youth in Action meeting at lunch today in the cafeteria.

Elementary girls’ basketball is just around the corner. We will have two teams this year. 3rd & 4th grade and 5th & 6th grade. Forms will be handed out today. Make sure to complete the form and return by Friday, November 1st.

Congratulations to Zoe Johnson for making the UMD Band.

All High School Student council members need to see Ms. Stupke today.

Attention Seniors: we are nearing the end of College Knowledge Month and majority of college application fees are waived starting next week. If you want to save some money, and have the relief of getting your college apps done, Monday Oct. 28 Talent Search will be here 1st and 2nd hour to help get them complete. Please check in first hour then head to the Talent Search room prepared with your chrome books. 

A representative from the College of St. Scholastica will be here today. We will make an announcement when they are ready to meet. Also, tomorrow, a representative from Lake Superior College will be here tomorrow morning at 8:30 to meet with students.

There will be a Halloween Party this Friday, October 25th at the,Event Center in Floodwood, from 5 – 7 pm. A free fun filled dance party. Costume contest, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies, DJ, games and treats., The Big Kid Dance will begin at 7:30 – 9:30 pm for 12-18 year olds.

Today’s lunch is Chicken Strips, sweet potato fries, cucumbers, milk, and fruit.

Tomorrow’s breakfast is Cherry Frudel, fruit cup and juice.
