Congratulations to Neva Polo for taking 2nd in the JH Division and to Wyatt Rauvola for taking All Conference in Grand Marais yesterday.

Good Luck to the girl’s VB team in their home game against Barnum at 7:00 pm. This is Parent’s Night.

Good Luck to the Football Team in their game at Northwoods at 7:00 pm. Bus leaves at 4:15.

Good Luck to the JH Football Team in their game at Hill City at 5:30 pm. Bus leaves at 3:45.

Junior High Knowledge Bowl practice will be tomorrow morning at 8 in Mr. Tollefson's room.

Order your Yearbooks. Last call from now until this Friday, October 13 to get your yearbook for $40.00. Starting on Monday the price will go up. Also, there will be no separate printing of the Elementary Yearbook this year. It will all be included in the one book.

Any juniors or seniors interested in the University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS) can sign up outside Ms. Fierke's office to meet the recruiter on Wednesday Oct 18th at 10:30.

Bus Safety Week is October 16th – 20th. In honor of National Bus Safety week, 4.0 Bus Service is hosting a poster contest! We would like to encourage all K-6th grade students to participate. There will be two judging categories; K-3rd and 4th-6th grade. The first place winner of each category will win a gift card to Dollar General. Students are to draw a picture that depicts bus safety on a standard 8.5”x11” piece of paper. Each student must fill out an entry card and tape it to the back of their poster. The posters are to be turned in to the office by Tuesday, October 17th at the end of the school day for judging. Winners will be announced Wednesday morning!

There will be a Family Fun Night on Tuesday, October, 17th from 5-6:30pm.  Make sure to let your parents know! Also, happening that night is the 2nd Annual Dodgeball Tournament.

 Any students interested in Drivers Training can sign up outside Ms. Fierke's office.  The dates will be October 30- Nov 10 from 3:15-5:15.  Cost is $125

The Floodwood Police Dept is sponsoring an ATV Safety Course this coming Saturday Oct 14.  Students must be ages 6-15.  Contact the Police Dept. for details.

Today’s lunch is Mac & Cheese, carrots/broccoli, bread, and fruit.

Tomorrow’s breakfast is Breakfast Wrap, fruit cup, and juice.
