Daily Bulletin for October 17th

Good morning Floodwood students and staff.  Today is Wednesday, October 17th.

Good luck to the boys Football team in their away game against Lake of the Woods scheduled for tonight at 6:00 pm. Bus load time is 1:10. Please release the boys at 12:50 pm to get their equipment and begin to load at 1:00.

Congratulations to Wyatt Rauvola coming in 2nd place @ Proctor Cross Country with a time of 17:02.

Congratulations to the girls Volleyball team in their win against NE Range 3-2.

Next Wednesday, October 24th TRIO Talent Search will be meeting with ALL seniors at Floodwood to help them complete their college applications.  This month is College Knowledge and the last week of October many of the Minnesota Colleges and Universities waive their application fees.  More info to follow.

100 Year Anniversary of the Fires of 1918 in Minnesota presentation by Dan Reed, Moose Lake Area Historical Society, is coming to the Floodwood School's large gym on Tuesday, October 23 @10:15 AM. This 45 minute presentation is open to the 5-12th grades and the public. We encourage all to attend.

Any Seniors or Juniors that have not received your school photos please come down to the office.

Any seniors who would like to retake the ASVAB test on November 8th can sign up on Ms. Fierke's door.  Juniors, remember that you need to take either the ASVAB or the ACT or both!

If you have a talent or a craft you'd like to earn money from, please see Ms. Fierke for an application to sell your goods at Floodwood's Annual Shopping Night on November 19

The Polar Den will be closed today, Wednesday, October 17th  and Wednesday, October 31st. Also there will be no Gymnastics on October 31st.

Meadowlands is still looking for volunteers to help with the Halloween Party on Saturday Oct 27th from 10:45-1:00.  Please contact Ms. Fierke if you're interested

The cafeteria will be open from 2:20 to 2:50 for a la carte purchases today.
