Daily Bulletin for February 11th

Good morning Floodwood students and staff.  Today is Monday, February 11th.

Please stand and join in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Snow Week Dress Up Days Activities start today with Pajama Day which does not include hats. Festivities for the High School are a Pep Fest, Dodgeball, Tug of War 2nd hour and a 6th hour Lip Sync Practice. Elementary students are invited to dress up and join the Pep Fest today and to come to the Lip Sync Contest this coming Friday. The Student Council will be choosing winners from each dress up day. There will be two nominees from each class and one winner each day. Tomorrow is Neon Day, so put on your brightest colors.

High School students please report to Advisory 6th hour. Ms. Gillespie’s and Mr. Bartsch’s 3rd hour class please report to the gym with Ms. Fjeld. Ms. Gillespie’s and Ms. Rocco’s 7th hour classes report to Ms. Fjeld’s room.

Credit Recovery Math class will be held on Thursdays at 3:30 in the telepresence room.

This week is mid-terms; now is a good time to check for missing assignments.

Good luck to the girls’ basketball team in their away game tonight against East Central at 7:15 pm.

Do you want to show someone how much you care this Valentine’s Day? Buy a candy-gram, cookie gram, or flower gram to be delivered Feb. 14th. See the Juniors, Ms. Rocco, Ms. Hanson, or stop in at the office.

I am excited to give you an update on our Pennies for Patients program! For our first week, we have raised $76.75 to cure cancer. 2nd grade has brought in the most so far, they are the winners for week one. Remember to keep bringing your coins and dollars in!

Remember the dance on February 16. There is a sheet outside Ms.Fierke’s office for students to write song suggestions for the dance. The time of the dance will be 8-10:30pm.  

Attention Seniors:  the Dollars for Scholars meeting for updating your applications is tomorrow during first hour in the Talent Search room.  Also, the phone-a-thon is Tuesday night.

The Bookmobile will be here today. Check with Ms. Davidson for the shuttle schedule.

Yearbooks are $50.00. After February 22, 2019 they will increase to $55.00.

Today’s lunch is Meatballs, mashed potatoes, carrots, bread, fruit, and milk.

Tomorrow’s breakfast is Breakfast Pizza, fruit cup and juice.

Be sure to be in school and on time to get in the lunch line 3 minutes before your classmates.
