Good morning Floodwood students and staff. Today is Tuesday, February 12th.
Today is Neon Day. There will be Lip Sync Practice during 3rd hour. The Student Council will be choosing winners from each dress up day. There will be two nominees from each class and one winner each day. Tomorrow is Pick a Decade Day.
There will be Varsity Knowledge Bowl practice tomorrow during lunch.
Floodwood students are invited to join in a Polar Bear Medallion Hunt. Elementary students can hunt for the elementary Medallion and high school students can hunt for the high school medallion. Each day a clue will be given during announcements to lead you to the next clue. Today’s clue for the Elementary is: “Keep in Rhythm, feel the beat, clap your hands and stomp your feet”. The clue for the High School is: "Seek the Wisdom of Counsel".
Credit Recovery Math class will be held on Thursdays at 3:30 in the telepresence room.
Any sophomores, juniors or seniors interested in meeting with the UWS recruiter on Wednesday Feb 13 at 10:30 can sign up on Ms. Fierke's door.
This week is mid-terms; now is a good time to check for missing assignments.

Donations from Pennies for Patients help families of patients pay for medicines, doctors, other expenses, and also help fund research on finding a cure. Your pennies help do so much - thank you for bringing those coins in!
Remember the dance on Saturday, February 16. There is a sheet outside Ms.Fierke’s office for students to write song suggestions for the dance. The time of the dance will be 8-10:30pm.
Attention Seniors: the Dollars for Scholars meeting for updating your applications is today. during first hour in the Talent Search room. Also, the phone-a-thon is tonight.
The Bookmobile will be here today. Check with Ms. Davidson for the shuttle schedule.
Yearbooks are $50.00. After February 22, 2019 they will increase to $55.00.
Today’s lunch is Chicken Strips, sweet potato fries, cucumbers, fruit, and milk.
Tomorrow’s breakfast is Cherry Frudel, fruit cup and juice.
Be sure to be in school and on time to get in the lunch line 3 minutes before your classmates.
