I spent my childhood in Longville, (70 miles west) and graduated from Northland in Remer, MN. After teaching High School Science I have held school administrative roles in Mexico, Alaska, and most recently back at Northland High School.   I am a big advocate of smaller Pre K-12 schools and the opportunities they give students.  Individual relationships with staff / students / families & the community are truly what makes smaller schools special! Outside activities with my wife Jan and our dogs Rudi & Kai help "satisfy my soul". Woodworking, reading, and spending time with my elderly parents are my favorite inside activities. I am impressed by the quality of school staff members here in Floodwood, and look forward to this school year. Please contact the office and schedule a visit.  We love to show off our school!
