Good Morning Floodwood students and staff, today is Friday, October 31st.
Today’s clue - Halloween
You are welcome to stand and join in the Pledge of Allegiance.
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Today will be indoor recess for elementary students in the large gym, students be sure to have your gym shoes!
Today is the end of Quarter 1, be sure all your assignments are turned in!
High School - 6th and 7th hours today you will have a choice of activities. Check in to 6th hour for attendance and then you may head to the gym for Mat Ball, library for games or to Ms Richards for a movie.
Youth in Action students that signed up will report to the Home Ec room during 7th hour.
Today is also the Halloween parade, starting around 12:35. Elementary students will make their way through classrooms, walk through the HS hallway and then to the gym where Youth in Action students will be handing out items to elementary students, also community members may be handing out items.
10th-12th graders: If you are interested in going to MN North-Hibbing for Technical Career Day, there’s still time to sign up! See Mrs. Tucci.
Yearbook presale is happening now! High School yearbooks are $40 and Elementary yearbooks are for sale for $15. Today is the last day to get them at these prices, they will increase next week. Stop in the office to pick up your order form!
Students….Get ready for a Dodgeball Tournament on November 13th! You must have 2 adults on your team, so start asking your families and community members!
Tonight stop by the school from 4-6pm while out trick-or-treating to see what treats Ms. Lindstrom and Youth in Action have prepared for you!
Today’s lunch is pizza, romaine salad and carrots served with fruit and milk.
One person from your class please bring Ms. Mel your sheet with the announcement clues during 1st hour. I will take a look to see who the winner is and announce them on Tuesday.
Teachers have an inservice day on Monday, so there is no school for students on Monday. You will be back here on Tuesday next week!
