Daily Bulletin for March 5, 2020

Good morning Floodwood students and staff. Today is Thursday, March 5th.

Today's theme is Cat in the Hat - Wear your favorite hat. Tomorrow's theme: Oh, the Places You’ll Go! - Wear a school or college shirt. Yesterday's literary quote answers are:HS: The Fellowship of the Ring, J.R.R. Tolkein. Elementary: Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed, Mo Willems. Elementary winner is McKennah Keil. You can pick up your prizes in the offices. Please remember when you write your answers down we need both the Authors' name and the name of the book.Today's literary quotes: HS: “Real courage is when you know you’re licked before you begin, but you begin anyway and see it through no matter what.” Elementary: “Meet George Beard and Harold Hutchins. George is the kid on the left with the tie and the flat-top. Harold is the one on the right with the T-shirt and the bad haircut. Remember that now.”

Juniors and Seniors signed up to take the ACT on March 24th, please remember to check your email for an ACT practice test. Please see Ms. Stupke if have any questions.

Ms. Waldron’s 4th & 5th hour please report to the office today. There will be no morning services with Mr. Svatos today.

Softball - There will be a team meeting in the large gym on Monday right after school. Please bring your softball equipment.

Track - There will be a team meeting in the shop classroom on Monday at 3:25pm. The plan is to lift in the fitness center after the meeting. Please bring workout clothes.

If any student-athlete has not participated in sports this school year, please stop in the office to get the forms needed for participation. All forms will have to be turned in before a student-athlete can practice.  Also, if you have not had a physical in the last 3 years, you will need a new physical to participate. 

A representative from Hibbing Community College will be here on March 11th at 11:00 to meet with students. Please see Ms. Stupke if you have any questions.

Attention seniors: The Dollars for Scholars phone-a-thon is tonight in the front office from 5:30-9:30pm.

Today’s lunch is Corn Dog, baked beans, carrots, fruit, and milk.

Tomorrow’s breakfast is Cold Cereal Snack Pack and Craisins.
