Daily Bulletin for March 11th

Good morning Floodwood students and staff.  Today is Monday, March 11th.

Please stand and join in the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Track practice starts today after school. Meet in room 231.

Juniors make sure you get a good night’s sleep tonight for the ACT tomorrow.  If you are taking the ACT, please report to the elementary computer lab; attendance will be taken there.  Please bring a #2 pencil.  The bells will be shut off tomorrow for ACT testing.

Attention 7th grade, your iPads need an update, Ms. Davidson will make those during 1st hour & return them by the end of the hour.

Olive would like everyone to put their gum in the garbage rather than the floor when done chewing.  When it's on the floor, she is either eating it or it's stuck in her fur - either way, it's not healthy for her.

If you are turning in uniforms, do not bring them to the office. They need to go to Mr. Bartsch.

The answer for Friday’s quote is attributed to Dr. Seuss, but he did not say it first. Several persons have been given credit, but the answer would be Bernard Baruch. The HS winner is Eric Bock and the Elementary winners are Davia Hayes and Layla Bailey. You can pick up your prizes in the offices. Thank you to all who participated in Read Across America/Spirit Week.

Remember to reserve your spot to give blood this Wednesday, March 13th from 12:00 to 3:00. Please see Ms. Rocco, Jayde White, or Sam Rohde.

Today’s lunch is Spaghetti, coleslaw, beans, breadstick, fruit, and milk.

Tomorrow’s breakfast is EZ Jammer, fruit cup and juice.

Be sure to be in school and on time to get in the lunch line 3 minutes before your classmates.

Paws up to the students caught roaring with pride: Thank you for setting a good example to students and staff!

Congratulations to this week’s Polar Pride Prize winners! You can come to the office to claim your prize.

Have a great day and make good choices!
