Welcome to the Floodwood School District Facilities Update

The Floodwood School District is committed to keeping our community informed as we work to address critical building needs that have been decades in the making. The last major facilities project was completed in 2003, and with aging infrastructure and limited funding, several areas now require immediate attention – ranging from roof replacements and heating system upgrades to ADA accessibility improvements and health and safety concerns. This website provides an overview of the most urgent needs identified through a recent assessment, along with potential solutions the school board is considering for summer 2026 construction. These initial projects focus only on the highest-priority issues and are designed to minimize taxpayer impact for the average homeowner. We invite you to explore the information here and stay engaged as we plan responsibly for the future of our school facilities.
