FLOODWOOD SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY INFORMATION
Floodwood School will have a new procedure for technology roll out and fees associated with student technology.
The purpose of the ISD 698 School District Learning Initiative is to improve engagement, personalization of student learning, as well as equitable technology access for all students. To achieve this, the district provides iPads to students grades K-2 and Chromebooks to students grades 3-12. This technology supports student learning and helps students be ready for college and their future. Effective teaching and learning with iPads and Chromebooks integrates technology into the curriculum anytime, anyplace. The policies, procedures, and information within this document apply to all Chromebooks used in ISD 698 school.

Starting the 2025-2026 school year, families will have the option to enroll in Chromebook Insurance Plans versus paying a flat tech fee. All families must complete paperwork, with payment if applicable, purchasing insurance or waiving insurance for their student to receive their device. Devices will be handed out at Open House. Parent/Guardian MUST be present to receive chromebooks. If you are unable to attend Open House, please contact Alexa Ruzynski to set up a time to complete forms and receive chromebooks.
