Ms. Lindstrom and the 6th graders took a field trip to Hibbing for the STEM showcase. This great opportunity allows students to get interested in STEM Education by engaging in hands on activities. Her son was even one of the presenters for MN North College Itasca.

Thursday October 3rd, 5th - 8th grade students went on a field trip to Zauhar Farms to experience a fun day filled with experiences. Students were able to try a variety of equipment like excavators, bull dozers, atv’s, and boom loaders. They also had activities through the MN DNR, Forestry service, welding, baking, dancing and visit with animals, even an alligator. Thank you to Mike Zauhar for offering such a fun experience for our students.

On Wednesday this week, interested high school students took a fieldtrip to The College of St. Scholastica to the Discover Healthcare event. Students talked to businesses, employers and colleges, while participating in hands-on learning activities surrounding healthcare careers in our area. Thank you to The College of St. Scholastica for providing such an engaging opportunity for our students, and future healthcare professionals!
