This year, Boo Grams will be replaced by Boo Baskets by the Floodwood Yearbook class! This fundraiser aims to help raise money for some much needed cameras for our students.
Both pages of the order form need to be completed and handed into the office with payment before October 24th. Celebrate spooky season by supporting the Floodwood Yearbook class and purchase a basket for your boo!

The Floodwood School District is not a sponsor of these fundraisers and has no affiliation with these groups or their activities.
The fundraisers, which we understand includes the raffle of firearms, are organized independently and are not connected to our school.
While we value the many organizations that support youth in our community, we believe it is important to make clear when events are not associated with or endorsed by the school district.

At approximately 11:45am today, Floodwood School was placed in SOFT LOCKDOWN protocol due to a medical emergency. During this time, students and staff remained inside their classrooms.
We have now been able to announce an “All Clear” for the building. Students have resumed their regular school day schedule.
We want to thank our students and staff for following the protocol. We are also grateful for the assistance of our local emergency services personnel.

Our CNA course is off to a great start! We would like to send a thank you to Floodwood Services and Training and The Scenic Rivers Dental Clinic in Floodwood for donations to support this course!!
We had our first Artist guest speaker, Leanaya Miller, cosmetologist. She spoke with K-12 grade students about how art impacts her career.

The elementary classes enjoyed their first field trip of the school year to the Grand Rapids Forest History Center on 9/23/25. When they returned they completed an art project related to the forest.
