The end of the school year is right around the corner. We will be collecting chromebooks and chargers the last week of school. If students are not sure where your charger is, start looking. The Academic Awards Ceremony/NHS induction ceremony time has been moved to 1:00pm due to the girls softball playoff schedule. The awards ceremony will begin at 1:00pm in the Floodwood gymnasium tomorrow, Monday May 20th.
Tonight, Sunday May 19, is the athletic Banquet in the Floodwood gymnasium at 6:00pm.
The Floodwood School All Sports Banquet will be held on Sunday May 19th, 2024 in the large gym. All family, friends and community are welcome to attend. This is a free event to celebrate the accomplishment of Floodwood School's student athletes. Coaches will talk about their season and hand out awards to players. A meal will begin at 6:00pm. Coaches and student athletes should all dress in semi-formal attire.
The Floodwood School Academic Awards Ceremony will be held on Monday May 20, 2024 at 2pm in the large gym. All family, friends and community are welcome to attend and celebrate the academic accomplishments of our students during the last school year.

The women’s Auxiliary 8299 of Floodwood sponsored the annual 1st grade coloring contest of the American Flag.

Floodwood School students spent the morning Tuesday May 14, 2024 planting over 100 trees, fruit trees and shrubs in the school forest with the assistance of Wes with the Minnesota DNR.
Two students submitted art works into the MSHSL Region 7A Art Competition. The Visual Arts Competition took place at Northwoods School in Cook, MN. Students attended the festivities where Alexis Baazard, grade 11, earned an Excellent rating for her painting entitled Arachnophobia and Breelyn Hilsen, grade 9, earned a Superior rating and medal for her drawing entitled Dwelling Place.
