Last week, the kindergarten class celebrated the Icelandic holiday, Jolabokaflod. Students read books, ate chocolates, and drank hot cocoa throughout the day. It was a cozy, book-filled way to celebrate the Christmas Book Flood tradition!

A generous community member recently knitted hats for kindergarten! Students came up with the design, which was used to create these warm winter caps.

Want to be a fastpitch softball pitcher or catcher? Come learn the necessary techniques at a clinic on Sundays, starting Jan 11th with coach Mark Johnsen. Pitchers will learn proper posture, how to hold the softball to throw specific pitches, leg work, etc. Catchers will learn proper stance and how to catch certain pitches. Location: Floodwood School- small gym. $20.00
