We hope to see you all at tonight's K-12 winter concert which starts at 6PM! Reminder... no parking on Highway 73. There are a few spots saved for "Elderly Parking" by the front main entrance and the lot adjacent to Highway 73.

The Floodwood School will start at 10:25 a.m. today due to inclement weather. Buses will be running 2 hours late. Staff should report at 10:00 a.m. All pre-Kindergarten classes have been cancelled.

There will be a two hour late start today. The preschool students will not have school. Expect the buses to pick your child up two hours later than the normal pick up time. Classes will begin at 10:25 am.

Our K-2 "Trash to Treasure" STEM Club applied the scientific process of inquiry to ask questions, plan, create, and improve designs for magnificent treasures. Our inspiration was the picture book, "The Most Magnificent Thing" by Ashley Spires.


Kindergarten students and several volunteer chaperones braved the chilly weather on Thursday to visit the Floodwood Fire Station! A big thank you to Josh, Bryan, and Jason for making time to teach our K Crew about your important role in the community.





Second graders enjoyed learning about electrical circuits using play-dough during library time this week.

Floodwood Sophomores are creating cell models for Biology Class!




Floodwood School staff participated in ALICE Training during the Inservice on November 11th. The objective of ALICE is to:
1. Recognize the need for option-based response strategies to survive critical incidents.
2. Identify how ALICE strategies work in your environment.
3. Practice the ALICE strategies during hands-on training.
