
Floodwood School Community Education is looking for community members interested in coaching elementary basketball. Practice will be scheduled throughout the week according to coach availability and tournaments take place on Saturdays at a variety of locations in the regions. The season runs December through February. If you are interested, please reach out to Ashley at aengh@isd698.org. Currently we are looking for coaches of our 3rd-5th grade students.

Kindergarten students harvested apples and learned how to make homemade applesauce on Friday. It was a delicious snack and inspired us to make plans to teach our PreK friends the process this week. We are excited to share what we've learned!

Minnesota North College will be hosting Campus Preview Days this fall. These events will provide prospective students with an opportunity to experience college life, learn about transfer & career programs, meet instructors, staff & current students, and get the inside scoop on preparing for the college’s admissions process!

MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ACTION ON CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS TO SCHOOL BUILDING
The Board of Education of Independent School District No. 698, Floodwood, Minnesota, will consider resolution for agreement for capital improvements to the school building at the October 30, 2023 Regular school board meeting in the media center at 5:45pm.


Kris Glesener will be hosting a Computer Science group for high school students this fall. There will be an in-person group on Tuesdays, from 4:00pm-5:00pm and an online group on Thursdays, from 3:30pm-4:30pm, starting the week of September 25th. If you are interested please talk to Ms. Fjeld or Faith.
